Department for Education is one of the large departments in the Government of South Australia manages South Australia’s public education system, with the goal of delivering world-class primary and secondary education in all areas of the curriculum.
Department for Education’s corporate website contains all the necessary information about the schools, pre-schools, child care centers, etc. Any changes in this information needs to be promptly updated on the corporate website. In the past, this data update was done manually and because of this, the website at times represent outdated information. In order to fix this manual handling of data on their corporate website, the Department for Education reached out to us for our professional services.
We carefully analysed our client’s needs and all the related data sets. As part of our analysis work, in order to resolve the complex issue, we also reviewed the exported data sets of their internal system – LSS (Location Site Services). After the analysis, in collaboration with our client we put together an action plan to seamlessly integrate their internal databases with their corporate website.
As part of the delivery work, we ran multiple demos/tests to verify we are working on the correct data sets and the correct outputs are generated. Upon client’s approval, we deployed the final solution on the live web servers.
The desired outcomes and deliverable were provided to the client with additional benefits and efficient integration.
